Kind of a rough day today as nothing worked like it was supposed to and my account for work kept getting locked out.
I'm headed over to Billy's tonight to start doing P90X again! Going to get BEEFCAKE! Hopefully I'll get in shape enough for soccer this weekend and I don't want to puke or something.
I'm also headed over to Julian's to help him install his new graphics card! Hopefully I don't screw it up or fry something! He has complete faith in me and my totally awesome hands to which my breathtaking brain controls!
"Happ Reaction" was coined by my wife as an over reaction we Happ's have when we are surprised by something.

26 More Hours To Go
So I was watching Brett from his Viral Video Film School deal, an example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAUyh1JyRQk
and this guy cracks me up! I wish I could blog like him! Some would say he's got the advantage with video, so would it be vblog? Instead of reading this you should be learning this guys weirdly numerically ordered lessons.
So I've been watching kids for roughly 26 hours by myself now. How am I doing? I'd say pretty good. I've found myself eating a lot more sweets. I don't know if it's because Rach is gone and there's nobody to monitor me, or if the kids are driving me to do it. Stay at home Mom's who's weight is the same or worse years after popping out your first... I understand now.
The kids have had their moments with their gnarly screams that might as well be point blank in my ear, but I somehow get through it. I even stopped one of Lacie's relentless cries because you won't hold her. I told her to stop crying and to 'go on'. I was tickled purple when it worked. Hanging with the kids non-stop for this long has allowed me the special observatory pass into their inner thinking or something. It's crazy! Oz wasn't falling asleep for his nap so I peeked in on him and he was biting his blanket saying, "Yucky poo... yucky yucky" So I went in and sure enough he was fully loaded! Ha ha, right now as I write this, Sean has Oz on his belly and he's lifting up his shirt smacking his back. Just as long as it didn't hurt him I guess. Well, dinner is in the oven - pre made Rach meal (45 min at 400)- I know I'm pathetic that I need that. I think it just proves how much Rach loves us all that she wants us to eat something she made even though she's gone!

Pray for Me and the Seeds
Holly Cow! I'm going to have to watch all the kids by myself! For how long!?!? Friday morning to Sunday night?!!!! Everybody pray for me! I'm so dead, they're going to eat me alive!
I saw Sean playing pretty rough with Oz last night. Oz was on the couch and Sean was up on the back of the couch. I wonder what was going through his head, because he just came down on Oz and they both came down on the floor. Thank goodness for carpet! Oz loved it and they were all running with their blankets around the house screaming! That line reminds me of Lord of the Flies for some reason. Lacie is definitely babbling more. Oz doesn’t babble at all and knows some lower case letters now. When it’s time for bed and I ask Lacie if she wants to brush her teeth she runs down towards the bathroom saying, “teef… teef”. If I say the same thing to Oz he’ll say, “ ahhhhhhhh”. As if I’m a doctor! Sean will lay in the bathtub on his back, open his mouth and wait for us to brush his teeth. I’m hoping this is a phase. I’m only letting it continue because we can brush his teeth really really good like this and he doesn’t fight us at all! Lacie is still sleeping with a pacie… sigh… I can’t wait till we break her of it. Rach asked if I was going to do that while she is away all weekend. I don’t plan to but I might inadvertently by not waking up when she wakes up for her pacie in the middle of the night.
So I bought a bag of sunflower seeds - Davids. The bag congratulated me for being a seeder. Hmm – cool – thanks. Then it proceeded to tell me how to eat seeds. Is there really a right way to eat seeds? I just throw them all in my mouth and chomp away. Oh man! The awesome juices that get flowing in my mouth because of all the sodium is unbelievable. I am officially addicted to seeds! My mouth is pretty torn up right now from eating almost a whole bag today, but it’s a small price for such a surge of flavor filled goodness! Long live the seeds!

Babies watching Biggest Loser
Last night I sat down with Rach to watch the The Biggest Loser. I don't know what it is, but we always eat ice-cream or some dessert when we watch it. She says it's coincidental that it just happens to be The Biggest Loser. She's probably right, but I'd like to take a second and estimate how many calories this show has actually made me consume. We've watched the past two seasons and each season had at least 20 episodes. We eat the slow churned stuff, you know, to be healthy (240/cup cal depending). So that's 9600 calories in one year just in ice-cream! That's not including the extra stuff we put in our bowls that I'm not telling you about because then we'd really look like fatties! -- 3000 calories to a pound -- Speaking of fatties (not the ones on The Biggest Loser) we've almost finished off my B-day dessert Krispie Kreme Cheescake all by ourselves. Yummmmm! There's a contestant on The Biggest Loser named, Sunshine. What kind of name is that? I don't know how she can walk the streets with a crazy name like that! What's her middle name Moonlight?! It'd be funny if someone said, "Shove it where the sun don't shine, Sunshine!"
I saw this pic and at first I laughed because the caption said, "Playing Tetris with babies isn't that easy.", but then I was sad because babies in the back of a pickup truck is not cool! Birds can totally poop on them!
But seriously! 9 babies in the back like that! Crazy people!

Questions and Answers
Just enough time for a little questions and answers...
Do you feel guilty when you say no to the cashier person when they ask you if you want to donate a $1 to breast cancer? It's just one dollar dude! Give it!
Why are some loaves of bread double wrapped? Does that mean the loaves that I normally buy could be fresher? No, I think the people double bagging are trying to be fancy driving up the cost and being less green by using more materials!
I often wonder if technology has made my life harder than easier. Do you think technology and its exponential advancements will someday completely ruin our lives? No, I recently fried my laptop last week by unplugging it from the wall instead of a nice shutdown. Technology is still a piece of crap!
Why can't grown-ups wear the same cute footsie PJ's there totally awesome kids do? I know that women wouldn't want to take their arms out every time they got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, unless there was a crotch zipper or something. For us guys... that's a big zipper in front! I'd be worried I'd accidently zip up something valuable after going to the bathroom in my sleepy state.

My Birthday Weekend
So check it! reee ah reeeee ah My name is Joe, I don't do blow but if you tap I'll say I can't rap!
I went out Thursday night with my lovely wife and enjoyed a nice steak dinner and free dessert. I ate soooo much! Rachael had a surprise for me so she knew not to eat too much. We went to the F1 Factory Raceway!!! I was super excited! I raced twice and Rach once. I'm glad she toughed through the fear and did it. She was last place as she didn't punch it too hard. Maybe she thought she was carting around 3 little ones in the back haha I don't know! We had Krispie Kreme Cheesecake from that Rach created as well has many other sweet things like Monkey bread the morning of. I spent the day at the zoo helping Billy with his biology assignment. I really didn't help that much, I was just glad to relax and see some animals. The orangutan exhibit was especially interesting as there was what looked like a family of 3. The little one was about as tall as Sean but the arms were freakishly longer. It's crazy to think that a baby orangutan could kick my butt!
Julian spent the night Thursday night and hung out with us Friday. He beat me three times at Wii bowling but I beat him once so that made up for it. I think he let me win on the last one though. Rachael bought me the video game, Call of Duty Modern Warfare II so Julz and I played it Friday afternoon as the little ones napped. The game caused me more frustration than I would've liked because my graphics card was clocked to0 high.
Friday morning we went and on a farm tour! Yeah, cows, goats, chickens, horses all smothered in an aura of stink! We had a lot of fun! The kids loved walking around seeing everything! It was great that Julian was our helping hand because all three of our little ones wanted to go their separate ways. I learned that the brown cows produce a much creamier milk. They got to feed a goat and a horse by putting the food in their hands. Lacie was afraid and didn't like it haha! Oz loved feeding them; he wanted to keep doing it so he'd pick up some hey and rock on the ground. The kids did some cute things later in the weekend. I saw Lacie get side control as she took Oz down to the ground. She didn't let him get up but he didn't seem to mind. Then the next day I saw Oz take her down and tickle her. They are having some good matches now. We put Oz in the crib with Lacie to give hugs and kisses good night. And he did exactly that, he knelt down and gave her a big smacker and a hug. It was the cutest thing! Sean's giving up naps for sure. He says he has to go potty every 5 minutes or just cries for mommy in his room. It was very frustrating yesterday. Sean is getting a lot better at talking and at the park I watched him dribble the soccer ball pretty good. Oz and Sean quickly became friends with this other little boy at the park and they loved kicking the ball to each other, and Lacie quickly became friends with a little girl that was at the park. The boy and girl were much older, she was 8 and he was probably 10. It was great to see everyone playing so well with each other!

Don't Go To The Gym When Sick...
I'm feelin' a gnarly headache creeping up in the 2nd quadrant of my frontal lobe! The last six words of the last sentence is really a product of watching too many medical TV shows such as Grey's Anatomy, House, and ER.
I did it! I got up at 5am and went to the gym! I'm going to get all ripped up - 5% body fat here I come! So going to the gym is half the battle and the other is what goes into my mouth, gets digested/absorbed and squirted out the other end... So I'm cutting out all caffeine (thus the headache!), ice-cream, doughnuts etc... The fatty foods such as pizza, hotdogs, nachos etc... are going to be my weak spots. Ah man! As I type this my head is getting worse and blast it all if Motrin has evaded me again! We ran out of Motrin for us and the kids at home so after the gym this morning I ran out and got more, but didn't take any with me to work. …lookin’ like a foooo…
Beep beeeep babeep beep... This just in! I have received word that my little girl AKA Lacie has propelled the word "Peesh" from her mouth to acquire more juice and without being asked. Loosely translated from a unique jibberjabber dialect to English she said, "Please". I’m very glad my relentlessness with her paid off. Also, we just found out that Sean has an ear infection and pink eye! AND Austin might have pink eye, he hasn't seen the doc yet. We are going to have a serious week ahead of us I reckon!

E.T. vs Sean
I was rummaging through our old pics and ran into this one. So I thought I'd post it. Seeing my twins so young brings me back to the days of colic for sure! Even the memories horrify me with the sleepless nights and insane amounts of crying. Soooooo glad that is all behind us! No offense to Lacie and Oz, my beautiful - lovable - cuddly babies, but I remember a memory of me chanting in my head, "Don't wake up, don't wake up, pleeeaaassse don't wake up..." as I bounced them in the bouncer.
Well, my week/weekend of eating fattening crap has come to an end. I was able to suppress the guilt I normally feel from eating that stuff by telling myself I'd go hardcore extreme in the gym come Monday. Well, Monday is tomorrow and I really don't feel like working out one bit! I think I ate too much fat because I'm all lazy now and don't even want to move!
Sean surprised me today by giving me the option between two different pillows to use as we watched E.T. He said, "Which one ya want?" I pointed at one and he said, "Okay!" I was more surprised by his speech than his generosity. He has always been Mr. Courteous. We started to watch E.T. and unfortunately the movie took a while to show the little E.T. so to help keep Sean interested I'd say, "What's that?" You know, to keep him on edge. Anyway, Elliot finally found E.T. and Sean said, "Scary Monster!" We weren't able to finish watching much more than that before his nap time. I think this pic helps tell this story.

Lacie and Me
First of all, this dog freaks me out! I saw it surfing the net and couldn't get past how it was staring at me! It looks like a human wearing a mask hiding behind some white fur. It also looks high to me! I actually found the dog surfing at this site... very very funny site. http://comixed.com/?ref=chz3
So Lacie, my little girl, the diva that she is inadvertently dressed herself and posed like a rock star! I love this pic! I had a really big battle with her last night though... Probably my first real lesson with her. She wanted more juice and I was happy to give her more but she needed to say please first. Sean and Oz learned the same thing. I know she knows how to say please, I've heard it! She knows how to sign it too. I was also giving her the option to sign it to me. Holy snapped guitar string! She was soooo stubborn and would not say it! I quickly found myself in a situation where I really wanted to give her juice, but I also wanted to stick to my guns so she'd know I wouldn't give in. Thankfully it was bed time, so I just put her to bed. She never got her juice. I know what you're all thinking! I'm a big meanie! That's fine because I know she'll listen to me instead of growing up and becoming a crack addict.

I was sitting down eating dinner with the fam and a holy bolt of lightning crashed down breaking the table in half! No, not really. That'd be cool to see though. When dinner was finished and we were cleaning up, my wife told my 3 year old boy to go play and it hit me like the bolt of lightning mentioned earlier that at this age before school takes over his life he is almost forced (more encouraged) to play. Have fun stay out of the way type thing. I guess this is just to say that I was jealous. I’m still limping around on my knee wondering when I’ll be able to walk normal again! It’s starting to really annoy me walking around with a straight left leg. I’m pretty sure it’s a LCL injury, but can’t say for sure unless I see a doc. I played hide and seek with my kids yesterday and had tons of fun! Sean has grasped the concept of taking turns hiding while the other seeks, but he has yet to master the art of stealth while hiding. He gets so riled up he lets out squeals of excitement and will give you 10 seconds to find him before he finds you.
So what’s with everybody suing Toyota!!! What's with this class-action lawsuit that says everybody is owed $1000 just because the resale value of their car went down!? Suffering succotash Batman! I've always wanted to spit in Batman’s face for calling himself a super hero when he doesn't have any "abilities". Anyway, it's like the ripple affect right, one thing affects another? The lawyers and wonderful citizens of America should realize that if Toyota has to pay out the billions to cover the lawsuit our economy will suffer even more! The $1000 will have to last you as long as it takes to find another job because your previous employer had to lay you off!

$ Problems
No I'm not going to talk about how families can make, save, or do away with debt. There are already too many books and seminars putting people in dept just to listen how to get out of it. For those of you looking for a way to spend your money don't hesitate to find me.
I've been giving some thought to our prison system and how much money goes into men and women that don't belong with the rest of us in society. Let me splash you with a fact. In California the cost per day of one inmate is roughly $129 per day. That's roughly $47K a year! I know ALOT of people that don't make that in a year. Hmmmm I wonder if this is an area that can be cleaned up for states looking to save some cash? After 21 years the state just saved nearly $1,000,000 from one person (not counting inflation or other legal fees). Also, why does it take so long if someone is sentenced to death to actually be executed?
I hate talking about money, and prison. I guess I wrote all of the above because the recession is seriously hurting a lot of people. People should not be jealous of anything inmates have in prison!

Blood - the river of life
I've been thinking about how I'm supposed to give blood again. The blood services people usually call me but haven't so I'm thinking I'll just wait until they do. However, I'm struck like a holy ninja to do the right thing and give blood despite their negligence in calling me. I saw a paper flier or pamphlet, not a laminate or plastic flier, but a paper flier on my table at work. It advertised the time to give blood at work, plus a bonus free Carls Jr burger! That's great! So let me break it down like a car crusher. I take time away from work and save time to spend with my family. Only one catch, I've given blood at my work and didn't have a pleasant experience. I do however have a relaxing copacetic experience at my regular place in the city. I wonder if they'd give me a free Carls Jr too? I think I'll just wait and let things work itself out.

Holy Crap!
So I just started a blog! I don't know much about blogs, except that a lot of people read them. Just a fair warning to those of you reading my blogs or (web logs) or my commentary posts, or my literary renditions, some it will make sense and some it will not. I will try and talk about something, but it'll mostly be about my kids, because let's face it, my family is my life!
I ran a half marathon today! Woohoo! I told myself to push through all the pain so I could say I ran the entire thing. I told myself as I approached the 10th mile marker that I would never, absolutely not ever do this again. I think the only time I would do it again is if one of my family members wanted to do with me and did some serious sweet talking to get me into it. I really busted up both of knees pretty badly too. I can barely walk! More stuff later ...
